ANDRÉ LEONARDO GONÇALVES RAMALHO
Dr. André Ramalho is currently a Professor at the Polytechnic University of Castelo Branco, Portugal. Since 2016, he has been teaching both the Sport and Physical Activity Degree and the Master’s in Physical Activity Sport and Well-Being Department). He earned a Masters degree in Gerokinesiology at the same institution and a PhD in Human Kinetics Specialty in Exercise and Sports Psychology) at the Faculty of Human Kinetics – University of Lisbon. His research focuses on physical activity, with special attention to systematic literature and mixed reviews, older adults and sedentary behavior. In essence, his work bridges academic insights with practical implications in ageing and human kinetics.
