Diogo Tereso is a PhD student in Sports Science from the University of Extremadura since 2020.
He completed a Master´s degree in Physical Activity in 2020 and a Degree in Sport and Physical Activity in 2017, both at the Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco.
He has a long connection with football, for more than 20 years. As a federated athlete, he has played in national competitions both at youth and senior level, and is also a football coach and researcher in the same field. He also works as a Personal Trainer, as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Physical Education Teacher with children.
His research focuses on Football, Exercise Physiology, Strength and Conditioning, Training Load Monitoring, Performance Analysis and Athlete Development.
