The "Super Quinas" aimed to test the effects of a tailored physical activity program through the evaluation of motor competence of school-age children. To execute the project, the FPF contracted a research team comprising eight Polytechnic Universities affiliated with SPRINT, 14 SPRINT researchers, and 1 principal investigator (Pl). This consultancy service entailed a nationwide intervention encompassing 39 primary schools across all eighteen counties in mainland Portugal and the two Portuguese Autonomous Regions (Madeira and Azores).

A detailed survey and evaluation of existing pedestrian, trail running, and cycling routes was conducted, along with the identification of new routes to be created. In addition, extreme sports facilities, such as climbing walls, were identified. After completing this process, the start and end points of each route were georeferenced. All routes are properly marked, with the starting point identified by a specific QR code, providing access to additional information and directions.
