MASTER'S DEGREE IN SPORT COACHING (ESDRM-IPSANTARÉM)

The Master's degree in Sports Coaching, from the Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior School at the Polytechnic University of Santarém, presents a learning itinerary with a systemic approach and a flexible curriculum that meets the needs of the students. Centered on the student's choice of sport, it predominantly ensures the acquisition of professional specialization, and the use of research/action activity developed in a real-life context of application in the respective sport.

The master's course is recognized by the professional market, namely through equivalences to the professional title of sports coach (TPTD), which is the IPDJ responsibility, in in several modalities, and is therefore aligned with Law Decreet no. 106/2019 of 6 September, which establishes the regime for access to and exercise of sports coach profession.
