SPRINT researcher, Filipe Clemente, is among the most cited scientists worldwide in 2023, in the field of Sport Sciences.
The ranking, regarded as the most prestigious worldwide, was published by Stanford University (USA) in collaboration with the Dutch publisher Elsevier BV. It takes into account more than 186,000 researchers, distributed across 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields.
Importantly, Filipe Clemente, professor at Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo, ranks first among the most cited Portuguese researchers (11 in total) worldwide in the field of Sport Sciences.
