The Polytechnic Institute of Setubal (IPS) is the higher education reference in the region, with a campus in Setubal and a campus in Barreiro. The IPS has two campuses: the Setúbal campus, where four Schools are located - Setúbal School of Technology, School of Education, School of Business and Administration, School of Health - and the Barreiro campus, where the Barreiro School of Technology is located.
All the premises and equipment are high quality and up−to−date. There are a number of well-equipped laboratories, documentation centers, audio-visual equipment, and computer facilities available to students and teachers.
