SPRINT Summit – Junior Researchers promotes research and scientific collaboration in Rio Maior
On 23 June 2026, the Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior will host the SPRINT Summit – Junior Researchers, a scientific event dedicated to promoting research, academic collaboration and critical thinking among students, researchers and institutions integrated within the SPRINT research network.
The event aims to bring young researchers closer to established SPRINT researchers, presenting current research lines, ongoing scientific projects and emerging challenges in the fields of sport sciences, nutrition, health and human performance.
The programme includes presentations by five researchers integrated in SPRINT, as well as oral communications by master’s and doctoral students, providing an opportunity for training in scientific communication and for sharing research work in a conference setting.
Through this initiative, SPRINT reinforces its commitment to the value of scientific evidence, interdisciplinary dialogue and the development of new collaborations between academic institutions.
